Let your imagination soar and your frosting flow! Join us for the 2nd Annual Gingerbread for Good: AidNet – Homes of Hope, a community gingerbread house contest benefiting AidNet, a local nonprofit supporting families in need this holiday season.
All proceeds from the event go directly to AidNet’s Homes of Hope outreach — helping provide safe, stable housing and hope for local families.
📅 Important Dates
- Registration Opens: November 1
- Registration Deadline: December 1
- Sponsor Pack Pick-Up: Begins November 3 at Sweeter than Sweet (Greeneville)
- Gingerbread House Drop-Off: December 3, 4–7 PM at The General Morgan Inn
- Voting Period: December 5–20 (online & in-person cash ballots)
- Display Pick-Up: December 21 by 3 PM
🏠 Theme: “Sweet Traditions”
Creations should reflect:
- Family holiday traditions
- Classic Christmas scenes
- Storybook holiday homes
All houses must be made primarily from edible materials, with a maximum size of 18” x 18” x 18”. Store-bought kits are welcome, and all entries must include at least four walls and a roof.
🗳️ Voting & Prizes
Voting runs December 5–20!
- Online votes: $1 each via QR code – include your favorite house number in the note field.
- Cash votes: Available at Sweeter than Sweet with paper ballots.
💯 All proceeds benefit AidNet’s local outreach programs.
Prizes by Category:
- Team (any age) – $200 Cash (Uptown Real Estate Group)
- Adult (18+) – $100 Cash + $50 Brumley’s Gift Card (General Morgan Inn)
- Teen (13–17) – $75 Cash + $20 Catalyst Gift Card
- Youth (9–12) – $50 Cash + $20 Amazon Gift Card (Uptown Real Estate Group)
- Child (5–8) – $25 Cash + $20 Sweeter than Sweet Gift Card
Entry fees range from $5–$25, helping cover prizes and event costs.
