Full-Time Restaurant Servers
POSITION SUMMARY: Will assist guests in selecting from our menu, take orders, deliver food, handle and count money and various other tasks as circumstances arise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Comply with all restaurant policies and procedures
- Adhere to all standards of service for the server position
- Receive and enter order into computer system
- Deliver food to respective table
- Clear and reset tables as necessary
- Ensure that guests receive excellent service and the guest’s needs and expectations are exceeded
- Observe guests while dining to ensure that all are satisfied with food and beverage, as well as responding to any additional requests
- Use suggestive selling techniques appropriately with guests
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Follow opening and closing checklists when working station
- Successfully complete the server training program and attain station validation
- Serve as an active team member and communicate with the team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent computer knowledge and ability to work with current software and server applications
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
DRESS CODE AND APPEARANCE STANDARDS:
- Must wear the appropriate uniform at all times during scheduled work hours
- Clothing should always be clean and ironed
- Hair (if touching shoulders) should be pulled back
- Females may wear one earring per ear; no other visible piercings allowed

Part-time Banquet Servers
We are currently hiring banquet servers to ensure that all guests of our Convention Center have an excellent fine dining experience.
Experience not required; we will train.
Job duties include:
- Setting up tables and banquet spaces before the event
- Serving appetizers and plated dinners to guests
- Serving and refilling alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Assisting with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down
- Providing friendly, anticipatory service to banquet event guests

Line cook
The General Morgan Inn is currently seeking a new Line Cook who is looking to enjoy competitive compensation, a vibrant and exciting work environment, and the finest staff in all of Tennessee. - Assist in preparation and execution of menu items in an expedient, diligent and careful manner.
- Adhere to all applicable state and hotel guidelines for food safety and presentation.
- Respond to the needs and requests of guests at all times.
- Possess basic knowledge of safe knife skills and understanding of knife cuts.
- Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in providing flawless culinary experiences for all guests.
- Additional reasonable tasks and responsibilities as needed.
