Welcome, Fireflies ✨
An Evening on the Terrace
As Firefly Festival season begins in Greeneville, the General Morgan Inn invites guests to the Rooftop Terrace for an evening shaped by art, music, and the atmosphere of early summer in downtown Greeneville.
Presented alongside the Greene County Partnership and Friends of the Cherokee National Forest, Welcome, Fireflies! offers guests an opportunity to preview select works from this year’s Firefly Festival online auction, with auction proceeds benefiting Friends of the Cherokee National Forest.
Throughout the evening, guests are invited to relax on the Terrace and enjoy live music by Zach Wampler, themed cocktails, and a collection of artist-made stickers and postcards inspired by this year’s festival entries.
Guests may enjoy the music, artwork, and atmosphere of the evening at no charge. For those wishing to dine, a one-time $25 inclusive fee offers access to a chef-curated hors d’oeuvres buffet featuring ham & cheese sliders, sweet & sour meatballs, chicken buffalo dip, house-made chips, roasted vegetable wagon wheels, cucumber & Boursin crostini, and strawberry pink lemonade.
Set beneath the glow of a summer evening, Welcome, Fireflies! is designed as a relaxed gathering before the festival weekend fully unfolds, an invitation to slow down, connect with friends, and step into the spirit of the season.
Join us on the Rooftop Terrace, May 28th from 5–8 PM, and step into the start of Firefly Festival season.
